18.11.2009 - Pronet joins Asseco SEE
On November 18th, in the premises of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce in Prishtina, the company Asseco South Eastern Europe held a press conference presenting their position in the ICT market of Southeast Europe and announced investment in Kosovo.

With acquiring ownership stakes in companies in South Eastern Europe, Asseco SEE started consolidation of regional ICT market in the domain of core banking software, e-business solutions, customized applications for telecom, public sector and state administration, as well as system integration services.

Kosovo based company Pronet is the newest member to join Asseco SEE. Pronet is the leading IT company in Kosovo with significant presence in the Albanian IT market. Pronet specializes in development, deployment and integration of information systems for banks, government institutions, telecoms and other business organizations. Pronet currently employs about 90 people full-time.

Asseco SEE employs over 900 professionals and attracted investment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of 15 million Euros. In that way, EBRD has become shareholder with 10.2%. Also, the EBRD has approved a six-year loan for the company in the amount of 7 million Euros.

On 28th October, shares of Asseco South Eastern Europe (Asseco SEE) have been, for the first time, quoted on the Warsaw’s stock exchange. Through a public offering dedicated to qualified investors, selling 2.1 million shares, the Company raised more than 6 million Euros.

In aggregate, Asseco SEE raised funds in the amount of 28 mln EUR that will be used for growth and further acquisitions in SEE region.

13.10.2009 - HP Customer Event in Prishtina

23.09.2009 - Pronet supports Prifilmfest
Kosova National Theatre was the place where the first edition of the PriFilmFest began, aiming at promoting Kosovo as the newest country in the world through culture, transforming it in a meeting place for artists and film makers from all over the world.
The PRIFILMFEST raises curtain on “East, West, East” an Albanian film directed by Gjergj Xhuvani. The British actress Vanesa Redgrave which is a laureate of Oscar and Golden Globe awards is the president of the board of this festival.
Pronet has sponsored this important cultural event, being among those who support events of significant importance for the Kosovo society.

18.05.2009 - Pronet participates in the Financial Fair 2009 with it's portfolio of solutions for the financial sector
The Financial Fair 2009, held on May 14-15 in Prishtina, Kosovo, was organized by the Association of Banks in Kosovo.
The fair was a good opportunity for the financial industry in Kosovo to present it's offering and plans to their clients.
Pronet used this event to present it's solutions dedicated for the financial industry such as software solutions for e-banking and CRM but also a range of products like ATMs and POS devices in partnership with Wincor-Nixdorf and Hypercom.

5.2.2009 - EMC announces it's business presence in Kosovo through partnership with Pronet
EMC, a worldwide industry leader in information infrastructure solutions, introduced new partnership with Pronet for the territory of Kosovo.
A brief presentation and a coctail were organized at Grand Hotel in Prishtina having participants from largest business organizations and governmental institutions of Kosovo.
Pronet, as the first direct partner in the country, will integrate EMC's solutions for local customers in order to optimize their information infrastructure to meet growing demands for enterprise content management, security, archiving, storage and virtualization.

18.12.2008 - Pronet and Microsoft Albania present ERP solutions based on Dynamics NAV
For the first time in Albania, Pronet and Microsoft Office in Albania have organized presentations for Solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform.
Presentations were held in Hotel Rogner in Tirana on 17.12.2008 focusing on IT solutions which enable optimized management of business organizations in production, distribution and retail industry.
Software solutions such as POS (Point of Sale), Mobile Sales (Mobile terminals, Hand-helds), Distribution Chain Management (Mobile communications through GSM/GPRS/WiFi), Customer Loyalty Management, etc. were also presented and demonstrated live.
Participants coming from some of the biggest Albanian companies showed great interest about the potential to improve their business management and operations.

10.12.2008 - Ministry of Public Services, Government of Kosovo awards new contract to Pronet for the Consulting, Supply and Support for the Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo
The MPS, acting on behalf of the Government of Kosovo, signed new Contract with Pronet for Consulting, Support and Supply of Software products and solutions from Microsoft.
During 2009, experts from Pronet Department of Information Systems and from Microsoft Services Division will provide consulting and support to the Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for the development, implementation and management of their IT infrastructure systems and services based on Microsoft technologies.

2.10.2008 - Biggest Kosovo retailer will implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Company Ben-af from Kosovo, the biggest local chain of supermarkets, have signed an agreement with Pronet for the implementation and integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in order to optimize the management of their fast-growing operations in production, distribution and sales.
The project plan is to enable Ben-af to use the newest ERP technology to improve the management of their financial and human resources, production process, supply chain, warehouses, distribution and retail.

25.09.2008 - Western Union is the newest Pronet's customer from the financial services industry
Western Union, a worldwide leader in money transfer services, have decided to use Pronet's IT solutions and services in all of their points of sale in Kosovo and in Albania.
WU is planning to introduce new payment transaction services to their clients in Kosovo this year and in Albania early next year.

8.07.2008 - Pronet among top 10 most regular tax-payers in Kosovo for the third year in a row
The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo in cooperation with the Tax Administration of Kosovo organized for the third time in a row "The Most Regular Taxpayers Ceremony" during which the most regular taxpayers of our country’s business community are rewarded and appreciated.
Pronet was awarded again this year, for the third time in a row, among top 10 Kosovo businesses.

27.06.2008 - AUK becomes the first educational institution in the region to enroll in Microsoft Campus Agreement
The American University of Kosovo has just signed the Microsoft Campus Agreement licensing solution in cooperation with Pronet as a consulting and supporting Microsoft Partner Gold Certified.
This agreement will enable the AUK to standardize, expand and optimize their student services. By this agreement, AUK will now be able to offer its students the latest technology and products from Microsoft. This three year agreement at the same time makes AUK the first educational institution in the region to enlist in Developer AA (Developer Academic Alliance), a special membership amongst the world's educational institutions with a special interest in latest software development.
The supply includes 500+ desktop licenses, which will be primarily used by AUK’s students, and as a platform in the creation of a centralized software distribution, monitoring and control infrastructure within AUK.

1.02.2008 - Pronet delivers IT infrastructure for a planned EU mission in Kosovo
Pronet has started with the delivery of equipment, software solutions and services for the core IT infrastructure of the new EU mission in Kosovo being planned by the EUPT.
The new EU mission is foreseen to have about 3,000 people working to support the Government and Institutions of Kosovo. Pronet and it's partners in this project are delivering and supporting the core servers, storage and data networking infrastructure based on solutions by HP and Cisco Systems.

28.01.2008 - National Credit Registry System of Albania starts with operations
Albanian Prime Minister Berisha took part in the meeting, organized on Monday by Bank of Albania for the credit registry system launch.
During his address, Premier Berisha said that the credit registry functioning is an extremely important event, not only for the Bank of Albania and banking market in Albania, but also for the entire life of the country. “Every step toward digital age is a step toward contemporary standards, is a step toward detachment from that difficult heritage, which we had and still continue to have in several aspects”, the premier said.
Pronet team of engineers and business analysts developed and implemented the new system which will serve all of the 18 commercial banks and some other financial and non-financial institutions in Albania.

2.01.2008 - NLB Prishtina starts with operations as the newest bank in Kosovo
After becoming major shareholder in two Kosovar banks during 2007, NLB Group from Slovenia has completed the merging process into a single bank which will operate in Kosovo under the name NLB Prishtina.
Pronet system integration team managed the implementation of the new core banking information system in a record short timeframe. The implementation has been done in parallel with a very complex merging process. The new integrated information system handles all bank operations and management, including: retail operations, loan management, accounting and finance, card management, etc.

8.10.2007 - Presentation Day in Tirana on October 18th, 2007.

5.07.2007 - Pronet will implement Central Credit Registry for the financial sector in Albania
Pronet signed new contract with Bank of Albania for implementing central credit registry system for the financial sector in Albania.
After a successful development and implementation of this system in Kosovo, this is the second country where Pronet will implement this kind of system for a central bank.
The new system is expected to be launched in January 2008 and it will serve all of the 18 commercial banks and some other financial and non-financial institutions in Albania.

10.01.2007 - Pronet signed new contract with the Office of Judicial Administration of Kosovo
Pronet has signed a new contract with the OJA for further development and rollout of the Case Management Information System for Kosovo's Courts and Prosecutor Offices.
This phase will expand the existing CMIS to deal with civil cases besides penal ones. Design architecture is a three-tier and Pronet team will fully implement the new system in 25 different municipalities all over Kosovo.

4.01.2007 - Pronet starts implementing the new central data management infrastructure for KEK
Pronet will implement for KEK a new data storage infrastructure for data replication, backup and disaster recovery which will enable the biggest power company in the country to introduce the newest policies for data management and higher fault-tolerance into their business processes.
The solution is based on hardware and software platforms from HP and from Symantec.

14.06.2006 - Procredit Bank of Kosovo starts the project of server and storage consolidation and virtualization
The PCB, the biggest bank in Kosovo, will start with a project to consolidate and virtualize it's server and data storage infrastructure.
Pronet, as an HP Preferred Partner, will implement this solution based on HP Enterprise Virtual Array storage system, HP Blade servers and HP Virtual Tape Library.
This implementation will enable the PCB to optimize and further develop it's main IT infrastructure while reducing the system management and maintenance costs and shortening dramatically the time needed to provide new services to it's internal operations and to it's customers.

15.03.2006 - Microsoft Office in Albanian is now available
Microsoft has announced the availability of MS Office 2003 in Albanian language. The Albanian Language Interface Pack can be downloaded for free for all users of a legal copy of this package using this link.
This way, the Albanian speaking population in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and elsewhere can use the world's most popular office applications in their own native language.

The Oracle E-Business Suite, an integrated suite of enterprise software applications that automate business processes, will be implemented at the Prishtina International Airport aimed at centralising and streamlining its core business functions. 21.10.2004 - Pronet delivers HP SAN Solution to the Ministry of Economy and Finance
Pronet has delivered and installed the new SAN (Storage Area Network) for the Budget&Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The complete hardware and software solution from HP has been built around the newest EVA5000 Storage Array, Proliant DL740 and ML570 Servers.

15.08.2004 - New Bank of Kosova will implement an Internet Banking Solution
Soon the New Bank of Kosova will become the first commercial bank in Kosovo to offer it's banking services to customers via Internet. The development team in Pronet is working on a software platform which will enable the bank to offer it's services on a non-stop basis 24/7 through the Internet.

1.06.2004 - The Ministry of Public Services continues to develop the WAN used by the Government Institutions of Kosovo
Pronet signed another contract with MPS to develop further the Wide Area Network of the Government of Kosovo which plans to cover all the ministries and all the municipality buildings in Kosovo.
Cisco hardware and software solutions have been chosen as the core infrastructure of the network.

3.03.2004 - Pronet team will install the testing platform of the new Information System for Management of Employment
According to a contract with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, the new distributed database system will be used by the officials of the Ministry in all of the kosovar regional centers for employment. Pronet development team is preparing to install the complete testing platform of this system which will become live later during this year.
This system is completely based on web technology in order to provide easier usage and to take advantage of the online WAN network of the Ministry. The development platform is based on Microsoft products and tools including MS SQL Server, MS SQL Reporting Services and MS C#.

1/11/2002 - Interactive Database System for Kosovo Police Service
The Engineering Team of Pronet has finished the first phase of development and implementation of a centralized and interactive database system for Kosovo Police Service which will be used in all of the Police stations, departments and units Kosovo-wide.
This system utilizes WAN and LAN communications and covers data and workflow for human resources, inventory and payroll.

2/8/2002 - Basic Pension Project
Pronet has implemented the new system for Basic Pension Administration for the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Kosovo.
This integrated software solution covers the complete workflow and data management of the Basic Pension Pillar for the needs of Kosovo Pension Administration.
The development and production platform includes MS Windows 2000 Server, MS SQL Server 2000 and Borland Delphi.

16/04/2002 - A Memo of Understanding signed between Pronet and USAID-KBS
Kosovo Business Support is a USAID funded business revitalization programme dedicated to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to revitalize and improve operations, thereby generating employment.
Pronet and KBS signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding new Financial, Managment and Accounting Software based on IAS which can be used by kosovar SMEs.
Pronet will develop, install and maintain the software, while KBS will provide professional training and implementation to the local kosovar business community.

11/04/2002 - BPK has started using the new Interbanking Clearing House System
After a rapid development phase and several days of successful testing, the new ICS platform has been launched. ICS will enable BPK (Central Banking and Payment Authority of Kosovo) to automate its clearing procedures and make possible several new services which will further develop and modernize the overall banking system in Kosovo.
All of the commercial banks, which are doing business in Kosovo, have taken part with their suggestions and comments during development of the system and started to use it immediately.

28/02/2002 - Pronet will develop an integrated solution for Central Bank of Kosovo
Pronet signed a new Contract for development and implementation of the Inter-Bank Clearing System for the Central Banking and Payment Authority of Kosovo - BPK.
An original integrated system is going to be implemented based on Compaq (servers, desktops), Cisco and 3Com equipment (routers, switches, modems). The software platform is MS Windows 2000 and the applications to be developed are based on MS SQL Server and Borland Delphi.

16/10/01 - Panduit Training and Certification
As Panduit's Distributor for Kosovo, Pronet is organizing Authorised Training and Certification Seminar for Installer Companies.

10/07/01 - Software development contract signed between Pronet and SDC
Pronet has signed a Contract for Software Development, Implementation and Maintenance with Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. SDC will donor this software to Kosovo's Public Utilities for Water Supply and Waste Management.
The Software will be developed from scratch and will include modules for Billing, Accounting (IAS) and Inventory.
The Software Platform is Networked Windows Environment with MS SQL Server and Delphi.

16/06/01 - Pronet became distributor of BRAND-REX for Kosovo
This agreement marks a more serious presence in Kosovo market of the wellknown manufacturer of cabling and network connectivity products.
